The Ride
My next novel, The Ride, is already in the works. Seventy-five year old Thaddeus A.
James will take you on a remarkable journey in the ride of a lifetime.
"The battered red pickup was sitting in building three, resting beside the paint booth.
It was far enough back that it could not be seen from the street, even with the garage
door open. The front of the truck was dominated by a massive, rolling, hood that
swept down over the tops of the fenders and flowed graciously around the headlamps,
coming to rest on top of a stainless steel grille that stretched the entire width of the
truck. Below the grille, a round mirrored chrome bumper sat only inches from the
ground, wrapping tightly around the bottom of the fenders. Tucked up under the
large wheel wells were a set of Goodyear Firehawks mounted on Chevrolet rally rims."
